AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH:
ATESS Power

Exclusive Interview with ATESS Power

ATESS Power has a significant focus on R&D, dedicating a substantial portion of your annual revenue to innovation. Can you discuss any recent advancements in solar energy storage or EV charging solutions that might be particularly relevant for the Argentinian market?

The all-in-one machine increases the number of MPPT channels, supports multi-angle solar panel access, and increases photovoltaic production capacity. The highly efficient energy storage system improves the energy density of lithium batteries and can store more energy in a smaller space, reducing system costs. Argentinian trams are in their infancy, and Atess can provide household, industrial and commercial charging piles, fast charging, and slow charging to choose from, fully meeting user needs.

With your global outreach and commitment to providing affordable clean energy solutions, how has ATESS Power tailored its offerings to meet the unique energy needs and challenges faced by Argentina?

Argentina is rich in wind, solar and other new energy resources. ATESS solutions can not only serve solar systems, but can also integrate other energy sources and provide energy storage solutions to maximize regional effective energy. Provide customized working modes to meet peak shaving and valley filling requirements under different electricity tariff policies. There is a serious power shortage in the mountainous areas of northern Argentina. The ATESS microgrid system can serve as the main power source for villages lacking power. Mountainous areas have high altitudes. Atess equipment can be used in high-altitude areas, and can be used in areas with an altitude of up to 6000m.

  • Sustainability and Environmental Impact: ATESS Power is committed to helping users and companies achieve energy independence while saving millions of tonnes of CO2 emissions. How do you see your technology playing a role in Argentina's efforts towards carbon neutralization and environmental sustainability?

ATESS energy storage systems can help integrate more renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, into the grid. Energy storage allows excess energy to be stored during peak production periods and released when needed, thereby reducing reliance on traditional fuel power plants such as fossil fuels during peak demand periods. Improve grid stability and smooth out renewable energy sources that can cause grid frequency fluctuations. Energy storage helps absorb excess electricity and release it slowly, stabilizing grid frequency and ensuring reliable and consistent power supply.Reducing transmission losses and storing energy closer to where it is used can reduce transmission losses that occur when power is transported over long distances from power plants.Environmental benefits, reduced CO2 emissions, by integrating more renewable energy and reducing reliance on traditional fuels, the ATESS storage system can significantly reduce Argentina’s overall carbon footprint. This is consistent with Argentina’s National Energy Transition Plan and its commitment to carbon neutrality.

  • Partnerships and Local Engagement: Could you elaborate on any partnerships or collaborations you have established in Argentina? How important is local engagement to ATESS Power's operational strategy in emerging markets?

We do have many potential powerful customers in Argentina and have also done large-scale projects. The Argentine market is one of the important markets in the entire South American market and an important part of the strategic layout of South America. It can radiate to other neighboring countries and establish linkages.

  • Future Plans: What are ATESS Power's strategic plans for expanding its footprint in the Argentinian energy sector over the next few years?

Conduct in-depth research to study the market and conduct thorough market research to understand the specific needs and opportunities of Argentina's energy sector. Develop strategic partnerships and establish partnerships with local companies. Including but not limited to energy companies, partnering with established utilities or renewable energy developers can provide access to existing projects or facilitate participation in new tenders. Manufacturing and construction companies ensure efficient supply chains, reduce costs and accelerate project execution. Government agencies. Industry knowledge promotion: Argentina currently has many grid-connected systems and the popularity of energy storage knowledge is not high enough. We participate in educational seminars and public outreach events to help potential customers understand the benefits of energy storage technology and its role in achieving Argentina’s sustainable development goals.Technical adjustments to adjust our storage solutions in a timely manner to best suit Argentina's specific grid conditions and weather patterns. Cost reduction, continuous research and implementation of cost reduction measures make ATESS storage systems more competitive in the Argentinian market.

  • Event Sponsorship Expectations: As a silver sponsor for the Argentina Energy Week, what are your expectations from this event? How do you envision it will enhance ATESS Power's visibility and networking opportunities within the Argentinian and broader South American energy sectors?

We are trying to increase brand awareness and  build brand reputation. Enhance communication with industry professionals and understand market information. Have in-depth conversations with potential customers and build trusting relationships.

Chile Enters the Era of Electrification: From Renewable Development to Efficient Use of Megawatts

Over the past decade, Chile has positioned itself as one of Latin America’s renewable energy leaders. With over 35 GW of installed capacity and 57% of its power generation coming from clean sources, the country has successfully moved through the stages of potential assessment, capital attraction, and large-scale project development. However, the challenge has now evolved: the focus is no longer on how many megawatts are generated, but on how they are used. Chile is entering a new phase — one where the electrification of industry, mining, and energy-intensive sectors will be crucial in capitalising on what has already been built.
