Annika Klump is a sustainability and energy expert with over a decade of experience across Germany and Latin America, currently serving as the Head of Environment, Energy, Technology and Innovation at AHK Argentina – the Argentine-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. With more than eight years at AHK Argentina, Annika has led strategic bilateral projects focused on environmental and energy cooperation between Germany and the Southern Cone. Since 2017, she has managed initiatives on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action under the “German Energy Solutions” program, coordinating projects and delegations across Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Her work encompasses a broad range of topics, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, circular economy, resource management, and climate change mitigation. She has overseen the implementation of the European Energy Manager (EUREM) training program, spearheaded numerous B2B matchmaking missions, and advised both private and public stakeholders on sustainability-driven innovation and investment. Annika’s career has also included roles at leading global companies such as Roche and BASF in Germany, as well as early project experience with environmental NGOs in Europe and Latin America. Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to decarbonization, cross-border collaboration, and the promotion of technological solutions for a sustainable future. Annika is joining the second edition of Argentina Energy Week as a speaker, where she will share her insights on international cooperation in the energy transition, sustainable innovation ecosystems, and the evolving role of bilateral partnerships in achieving climate goals.
