Mario Moya is an electrical engineer and seasoned energy executive with over two decades of experience at EPEN (Provincial Electricity Company of Neuquén), where he currently serves as President. He holds a Master’s degree in Energy-Environmental Economics and Policy, bringing a strategic, systems-level perspective to provincial energy development and regional integration. Throughout his career at EPEN, Mario has held a range of technical and managerial positions, leading projects that span grid modernisation, rural electrification, and sustainable infrastructure planning. As President, he is spearheading the company's transition toward a more resilient, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable energy model—one that supports Neuquén’s growing role in Argentina’s broader energy matrix. In addition to his leadership in the public energy sector, Mario has contributed to academic development as a lecturer at the National University of Comahue, fostering knowledge exchange in engineering and public policy. His vision blends technical expertise with economic insight, positioning EPEN as a key player in Argentina’s energy transition. Mario will be joining the second edition of Argentina Energy Week as a featured speaker, where he will share his perspective on provincial infrastructure planning, interconnection strategies, and the future of energy sustainability in Patagonia and beyond.
