Agustina Barahona is a dual-degree graduate in Public Relations and Human Resources Management, currently serving as Executive Board Director and Head of Human Resources at the Provincial Electricity Company of Neuquén (EPEN). With a career that bridges public administration and organisational development, Agustina brings a people-centred approach to institutional leadership in the energy sector. She joined EPEN in 2020, with an interim role at the Ministry of Local Governments, Human Development and Women, where she contributed to inclusive policy design and community engagement. Since August 2024, she has led EPEN’s Human Resources Department, and was recently appointed to the company’s Executive Board, where she is driving a transformative internal culture rooted in collaboration, inclusion, and innovation. Agustina’s leadership focuses on strengthening team cohesion, mainstreaming gender perspectives across all areas of the company, and fostering organisational change to support a more agile and equitable public energy institution. She will be joining the second edition of Argentina Energy Week to discuss the evolving role of people and culture in driving institutional resilience and sustainability within the energy transition.
