Gonzalo Jurado is an experienced engineering and energy professional, currently serving as Technical Director at TotalEnergies since July 2023. With a strong background in renewable energy project development and management, Gonzalo plays a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering, procurement, and construction phases of key projects, including the Amanecer IV PV Project (13.7 MWp) and a groundbreaking Wind Farm in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina (8.4 MW), the southernmost wind farm in the world. His leadership is critical in TotalEnergies' efforts to decarbonize its operations and enhance the sustainability of its assets in Argentina. Before joining TotalEnergies, Gonzalo held significant positions in the energy sector, including Project Manager at Tenaris where he led the De la Buena Ventura Wind Farm project (100.8 MW) in Buenos Aires. He also held roles at Total Eren, where he managed the operation and maintenance of renewable energy projects, including the Caldenes del Oeste Solar Farm (30 MW), Malaspina Wind Farm (50 MW), and Vientos Los Hércules Wind Farm (100 MW) in Argentina. His expertise in overseeing large-scale wind and solar projects has been instrumental in shaping Argentina's renewable energy landscape. Gonzalo's career also includes leadership positions in planning and project control at Senvion and GENNEIA S.A., where he contributed to the successful execution of major wind farm projects like Villalonga and Pomona. His deep understanding of project management, technical operations, and cost control has made him a key figure in delivering high-quality, efficient renewable energy infrastructure. With over a decade of experience in energy projects, Gonzalo brings a wealth of expertise in renewable energy development, project management, and operational excellence. His technical leadership is driving TotalEnergies' commitment to innovation and sustainability in the energy sector, especially in Argentina's growing renewable energy market.
