President & General Manager, ENARSA

Tristán María Socas is an accomplished industrial engineer with a specialization in finance, and the current President & General Manager of ENARSA (Energía Argentina S.A.). Tristán is a graduate of ITBA (Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires), where he earned his degree in Industrial Engineering, and later pursued a finance specialization at the prestigious London Business School. Before assuming his current leadership role at ENARSA, Tristán built a distinguished career in the financial sector. He worked at Standard Bank in London until 2017, where he gained extensive experience in banking and investment management. His successful tenure at Standard Bank laid the foundation for his later achievements in finance. In 2018, Tristán took on the role of Executive Director at BAF Capital, a prominent Argentine investment firm, where he contributed significantly to the firm's strategic growth and financial performance. At the end of 2022, he transitioned out of BAF Capital and, in March 2023, he founded AAA+ Finance, a financial services company that focuses on high-level financial advisory and investments. As President & General Manager of ENARSA, Tristán is at the forefront of leading Argentina’s state-owned energy company, driving the company's vision and strategies to foster energy sustainability, innovation, and growth. His extensive background in finance, coupled with his engineering expertise, enables him to lead ENARSA with a sharp focus on long-term energy solutions and efficient financial management in the energy sector. With a wealth of international and domestic experience, Tristán is known for his strategic leadership, financial acumen, and ability to execute complex projects with a global perspective.
